Tinney Law Firm Files Class Action

The Tinney Law Firm, PLLC, filed a Class Action Lawsuit against masseuse for illegal invasion of privacy.
The lawsuit is a class action brought by individuals, identified as Jane Doe 1, Jane Doe 2, against Richard Allan "Rico" Filbin. Filbin is the owner and operator of Body and Soul Massage Therapy. He was arrested in May and charged with 114 counts of criminal invasion of privacy for allegedly videotaping his clients while they undressed and dressed. The civil suit is on behalf of the people he allegedly videotaped and seeks compensatory and punitive relief for invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. The case has been assigned to the Hon. Lewis "Duke" Bloom of the Kanawha County Circuit Court. (No. 07-C-1096)
